Pale vs fake tan

What do you find more attractive, naturally very fair skin or fake tan?
Just curious, because everytime I go to my local salon the beauty therapist trys to get me to have a spray tan because my skin is so pale. (Might tell her that's borderline racism!) I would probably be more convinced if she was a bit less orange.

Take no notice - she's only trying to get you sprayed to make her feel better about being 'tangoed'! Do you really want to look like David Dickinson? Stay pale and interesting. Apart from anything else, it's cheaper! : )

i love a nice white pale skin it looks natural and untouched, like something pure.

I'm naturally pale and don't go in for tanning. i did buy a bottle of that stuff that makes you tan gradually but it's still sitting on the shelf unused I cant be bothered with it.

I hate the orange look and think its daft why people want to look like that, I'm all for natural skin tones as it was what god intended us to have.

Earlier in the year before the sun had come out I had a little panic on and decided I needed to be browner. So I ran out and bought some self tanning moisturiser stuff, surprised at how even it was but it didnt look like me brown. It was actually too golden where as I look dirty brown when i tan. I think atan is nice and fake tan can look good but if you are pale naturally, why not embrace it. Its all about looking natural really.

The pale natural look is much better, why people think it looks good to have that Ronseal look is beyond me

pale is better. u can always tell when a person fake bakes!

i think it looks nice in the summer i had it done when i was a bridesmaid so looked pretty natural but when its cold it looks cheap and fake

I prefer to be slightly tanned, but not orange! Thankfully if i get a natural tan in the summer, some of the colour lasts through the winter!

It is also more slimming as well

That's exactly the problem with 'fake' tan lil - it looks orange and awful.. Like you're from Essex and go to night clubs called 'Tramps'... Not a good look, for my money. The 'English Rose' look ie very pale is beautiful and classic.
