I've really been getting into the Jay-Z linkin park album collision course, and as much as i like the two bands separately when you put them together they're awesome.
Can anyone recommend similar albums/artists that have the rap/rock vibe
Public Enemy springs to mind... But I have no idea why. Something is jogging my memory to say they were this kind of collaboration but frankly I can't remember... check it on youtube and see if I'm talking absolute bulls testicals.
Public Enemy are a straight rap band, but certainly one of the greatest ever. They have collaborated with a rock band in the past - Anthrax on 'Bring the Noize'. But that was a one-off i.e one track, not their whole output.
'Jump Around' certainly appealed to the rock crowd, but it is not a rock/rap fusion as such.
Thanks Rja... that's most likely the track that's nagging at the back of my tiny brain!
What about Limp Biscuit Brokey? Tried them? They might appeal... it's an outside change but they might... think might be a bit more rocky (ahem) than rappy tho.
have got hold of the fantastic grey album by jay-z thanks Mike Lynkers and tried some rage against the machine thanks rja211077. Its always good to expand your music knowledge so thanks again
