How do I change a picture from PSD to JPG?

Alternatively will the pictures open with whatever you are using to edit them and then try SAVE AS.
Alternatively I had a look using google and you can buy converters and there might be something for free if you search far enough.
If you try any of the alternatives I suggest you try it with copies of the photos :)

Open photo in adobe photo deluxe. I presume that's what you're using.
Click SAVE and SEND button and click EXPORT from the drop down menu.The page will refresh and at the top click the EXPORT tab. From the options click the combination PICT,GIF,JPEG, OTHER button.
from the new pop up box name the file and scroll down the SAVE AS to JPG. Job done.
As you close or try to shut down you will be asked if you want to save the PSD photo. If you select YES you will have the picture in both JPg and PSD formats. If you select NO you will only have the photo in JPG format
