where do larger ladies shop in the us?

like we have evans and other ranges in stores - where do larger ladies shop? going to new york this weekend and wanted to know what to look out for?

Probably one of the larger (no pun intended) chains for women's plus sizes here in the U.S. is Lane Bryant, seen here:

every dept store has a larger ladies dept, its usually tucked out of the way, just ask, it does have a special name but I cannot remember it.
Personally I take the bus from the Port Authority in New York to the Florida Mall in Paramus,[pronounce PERAMUS] New Jersey but if u are only going for the weekend you wont find the time.
If I were you, at your hotel there is bound to be a lady working be it a maid or behind the desk who takes a bigger size, just ask her where she shops and how to get there, it works every time, dont be afraid to ask.

All the stores have a good range of large sizes, I went to new York last year and felt like Twiggy lol ( although when i went to Florida I felt positively emaciated!
