Drink Driving
Is there a national number to report drink driving? A guy at work regularly drives home having had a skinfull at lunch time and I've had enough of it! He's been told on a number of occasions not to but has not taken any notice.
This is a drastic measure, particularly as he has a 50 mile commute, but I don't really care now - it could be my Mrs and my child that he drives into one day (shudders!).
I am ready to shop him.

This telephone number is manned by a team of individuals who liaise with the police in whatever area the crime or fraud is being conducted and they will follow it up. You will need to provide them with sufficient information regarding timing, venue, car registration number so that they can be sure of making a successful arrest.
And don't feel guilty about doing this. You may well be saving the life of an innocent adult or child.

Could you not ask the pub landlord not to serve him as he is driving 50 miles? A quite word in th ear of the landlord will mean the landlord will have a word with your colleague and that should sort it hopefully.
On the other hand, if the police get him he may lose his license and wont be able to get to work and his wife and children will suffer.

3 or 4 pints at lunchtime and then driving home 4 hours later is one thing - this guy gets plastered (we suspect he tops himself up during the afternoon as well, as there is an overpowering smell in mints around him). He won't listen to his colleagues and the bosses don't appear to give a monkey's.
Him losing his job is infinitely better than him killing somebody.
He may well have a problem - well fine, but he should get it sorted before he kills somebody, because I suspect it is only a matter of time before he does.

I can't belive that some people are not encouraging flip-flop to call the police on this man. Can we assume the people that thinks that he is a grass, also thinks, that it is alright to drink and drive? What if any member of their family or god forbid , their child was killed due to a drunk driver? Would they think that it was just bad luck? Me thinks not. Lets hope they never have to find out.
Flip-flop, the ONLY number i think you should be using is 999!
