Anyone been to the G-Mex? I'm going in December and taking the kids with me. Is it a safe enough venue for children as young as 7?

nope - different gig - sorry! G-mex is huge and fine for kids i guess - if you keep an eye on them!!

im taking my younger sister and for a gig like snow patrol its going to be safe ive heard the sound is excelent

its a nice venue.. stand back from the front, middle ground is normally safe, and take some ear plugs. Snow Patrol and elbow are both really loud bands live. Your ears will be ringing let along theirs. Live music is an amazing experience for a youngster but at 7 its gonna be daunting. I thought there was a 14 n up limit on the tickets anyways.
