fundrasing at work.... ideas please

...it's children in need day again and we need some workable ideas to fundraise.... I work for a large supermarket and apart from " lets wear our pyjamas to work" idea that seems to pop up year after year has anyone got any suggestions that I could suggest....?

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.This is something we did a couple of years ago, get a couple of the husbands/male partners to agree, and he has to be on the hairy side, publiclly indoors, one of those wax things ladies use to remove hair from the legs, best part is when it comes off. (you ladies have to be masochists to use those).

I sucessfully ran Children in Need event in school. The children bought an egg, made a nest for it, decorated and dressed it and kept it for 24hrs. It had to be taken everywhere with them although we made a small fee for egg-sitting for no more than i/2 hour. The eggs had names and the owners kept a diary of their day for them. At the end of 24hrs the eggs still intact received a certificate of care, the best nest set up won a small prize, the dairy were really funny. Everyone joined in, even the head. Care is also educational
