A simple blood test will determine if you're menopausal or not. It's up to your GP & your medical history as to whether you're put on HRT. Hope you're being tested for anemia too, with all that bleeding. Take care.

Hi All
following on from Robina's answer .....I went to my doctors today absolutely at the end of my tether with peri menopausal symptoms (still having sporadic periods) & was put on HRT despite having a negative test for menopause....apparantly a negative test does not necessarily mean that you are not menopausal!?....
what the hell......so sick of the symptoms that I'm taking the HRT & see what happens!!!!
