In my kitchen I have a 'Bridge Mixer Tap with Porcelain lever handles, quarter turn valves, dual flow spout and Swan legs'.
This is leaking a the swivel where the dual-flow spout connects to the bridge part. If I could only get it apart I am sure I could fix the leak (probably just replace a washer), but there seems no way to get it apart. There is no grub-screw at the back as on other taps of this type. Any help much appreciated.
I can assure you there is a little screw at the back which will need one them stupid little screw drivers. It may be hard to find if the tap has been leaking for a while as the scale build up will cover the screw head. You'll be able to get the replacement "o" rings at any diy store.Remember just because the spout is hard to fit back into place with the new seals does not mean they're the wrong seals.(swearing will not fit it quicker!)
Some mixer taps don't have a grub screw. In these cases you should line the tap up with the body of the tap and pull upwards (sharply!). It should come off then.
