What happened to the previous Suggestion(s) of a 'Have Your Say' poll amongst ABers?

Too bad we didn't do it better 2 years ago. Or 6 years ago, for that matter.

But should we get to elect our leader on AB? That might be interesting. Not sure the results would be any different from the election here in 2004, though.

I was referring to the half-dozen or more requests in previous posts (in AB Suggestions) for a poll on Topic / Sub-section changes.

I think a poll could be a good idea actually.
Then maybe we would have less threads complaining about subsections.

But a poll is only worthwhile if the administration is willing to listen to the majority. Otherwise, what's the point?

Your point is a valid one, too drestie. What is the point of asking a Q, then taking no notice of the response. (previous) Ed's request for a two line slogan/catch phrase from ABers for the "new" AB disappeared (MIA) into the black hole!!!

right, first we vote out the editor and all the monks who run the monastery where she lives high above the clouds. Then we intorduce a new domestic programme... raise the minimum wage for those who agree to take part in surveys. Immediate withdrawal of troops from the wastelands of Body & Soul. Tougher border restrictions to stop illegal immigrants getting into the News category. More maximum-security subsections for imposters and other offenders.

I wasn't suggesting a poll on the Ed / editorial team, but a Poll on what is liked / disliked by ABer users on Topic / Sub-category. Users know what they like / want?
