Yes it is Paul McCartney...there was an article about this in the paper last week. The duet was with Stevie Wonder, the trio was Wings, the quartet was the Beatles...and I can't remember what the rest of the answer was.

The quintet was The Beatles & Billy Preston (Get Back). The sextet could be the charity version of Ferry Cross The Mersey by The Christians (who I think by then were down to a trio), Holly Johnson, Paul McCartney & Gerry Marsden. Strictly speaking however, producers Stock, Aitken & Waterman were also credited as artists for that single, so that would make it a nonet.
