I've got a new laptop. It will play copied DVD's but with retail ones it say's the following..........

Windows media player cannot play this dvd because there is a problem with the digital copy protection between your DVD drive, decoder, and video card. Try installing an updated driver for your video card.

How do i get round this but still use WMP11 and not real player or some other media player

Please help!

Go into explorer, where your files and folders are. Right click you DVD player and choose properties. Then click the Autoplay tab and disable autoplay, or, prompt me to choose an action. Many modern music CD's have hidden files that install to your machine when inserted. This is to stop you from copying the music, apparently. Many large companies now choose to disable this otion, as mine does.

See how you get on.
