I used to crack my knickles all the time when I was young and got arthritis at 23! i thought for ages that it was all my own fault, but then I realised that I have it in my wrists, kness and shoulder as well so that cant be the cause. I asked my doctor and he said no, the cracking noise is actually little tiny bubbles popping (or something lol)
"knickles"??? lol I meant knuckles obviously (could have been worse, I nearly wrote nipples ooops)
This is true ....I have never cracked my knuckles ...one of brothers used to do it all the time .....he has no arthritis at all but at 76 has other things ....I am racked with osteoarthritis so it's the chance you take !! My knuckles are very swollen with it but it's the synovial fluid which has worn away .If I had cracked my knuckles in tune with my brother ....who knows !!
