I bought a L'Oreal Micro-Dermabrasion kit today, but I'm a little wary of using it because it says not to use on sensitive skin.

But, I'm not sure what defines sensitive skin? I'm prone to the occasional spot and a bit of redness. Should I just use it and hope for the best?

Have you used this type of kit?

I've used one, and they're not too abrasive. If you're not sure, try it on the inside of your arm (more sensitive than the back of your hand or somewhere).
Your skin sounds similar to mine, and I use the L'Oreal kit without any problems, but I only use it once a week as I find that's enough.
