Mine have always been boys and have been castrated. If you do not have them castrated, they will still leave their mark in the house. Obviously if you are going to leave them all day, they may well become dirty. Mine are never left more than a few hours, although occasionally longer. Never had any problems. Also, I would not feed the animal on too richer diet. My used to have chicken with a James Wellbeloved all in one food, often had the runs. Better to get the small dog pouches that are now on the market and use these with the mixer. Hope this helps. Will look again to see if you need any further info.

i have two dogs a 10mth dalmation(dog) who is fully house trained and a yorkshire terrier (bitch)who is 15mths she still messes every day even with the doors open she will do it inside,we do have a few days where shes trained but goes back to being dirty, also she widdles when excited. She is a lovely dog but i wish she was cleane!
I have a 2 year old yorkshire terrier bitch, and although she is housetrained (most of the time), if shes excited she has an accident (more noticeable once she was spayed) and occasionally she does "mess" by the door, this is as she doesnt bark (unusual for a yorkie!!) and can't let you know when she wants out!
