The leaves have gone a bit yellow and the stems are soft. Have i give it too much water? If so what can i do to save it?

Thanks

Hi clare, I've read both your posts and I think you are right in thinking your plant may have been overwatered in your absence, going by the floppy yellow leaves etc.
Hopefully you can rectify this by gradually drying it out to acclimatise it back to its former self. The best way to do this is probably to put absorbant tisues under the pot to wick-away the exsess moisture (a few replacements may be necsessary.)
when you feel confident that the compost has dried out you can start to water it again but only a little at a time (rain water is best served at room tempreture.)
Remove any dead or dieing leaves and when its looking more like its old self, treat it to a house plant food at the recomended rate. Good Luck Tbird+
