message alerts

I have bought a Samsung D600 but have lost the instructions.
i am trying to use my downloads as my message signal but when i try this their is no icon to transfer from downloads to message alert.
Can you help.

I've just tried on my D600, and it would seem you can only set downloaded music/tones as either ringtone, caller ringtone, or alarm tone, even if you move it to favoiurite sounds?

although as morello says, you are stuck with standard message alerts im afraid.

the only message alert you can use on any d600 is the preset ones on the phone. this is so disappointing isnt it !!
