born bernard jewry, changed to shane fenton had a couple of minor hits then in early 70s changed again to alvin stardust and he was a big star in the glam rock era of 70s, indeed married to lisa goddard.

Alvin has two sons, Sean and Adam, by his first wife Iris Caldwell. He has a daughter Sophie, by his second wife, the actress Liza Goddard. Now aged 64, Alvin has been married since 1992 to 36-year old actress/singer Julie Paton, with whom he has a young daughter Millie.
