I was visiting Europe two or three times each year to dig Roman stuff. However, I've recently lost my 'free' flying privileges,,,and my tiny pension imposes limits.
There have been several significant Roman hoards unearthed in England over the past four or five years. The Hoxne and Somerset hoards....several million pounds value. In Turkey a few yrs. ago, a hoard of 10 million value. In Spain couple years ago, a hoard slightly over 2000 Moorish gold coins...as of yet unvalued...perhaps invaluable...nothing like it ever found.

And, finally old foggyheath, what could you possibly know about my efforts...recovery methods, or what 'responsible clubs' I may or may not be a member of ?
