archived newspaper articles
3 Answers
Hi - can anybody point me in the right direction please. I want to find an article that is very likely to have been in the papers (albeit local). I don't know what area I'm looking at and can only guess at a rough time period, prob around the 1930s/40s. I know a few details and a couple of names though. How woud you suggest I go about finding any information.
I hope somebody out there is able to help.
Thanks

There is no parking, but you may be able to find a space in a nearby side street. You should take two pieces of identification. Most local and, national and many foreign newspapers are kept. Some are on paper and some on microfilm. The staff are very helpful.
