Hydrocortisone ages skin?

A collegue told me that he's doctor advised him that Hydrocortisone cream ages one's skin if used regularly. Anyone know if this is a load of tosh, as a 'google' search on this reveals nothing along these lines. thanks.

hydrocortisone is a steroid, therefore if you use it for a prolonged period it can make you skin thinner (as steroids do) and less able to heal etc

well i supposed it depends what you mean by "ageing". To me ageing skin is more friable, thinner, kess resikient, so the answer is yes. How evr your definition of aging skin might be wrinkes, in which case the answer is no
