hi All.
We are off to Berney Riviere in France and I need to know where the nearest train station is. My guess is it is in Soissons about 10 miles from where we are staying. Does anyone know 1) Directions from La Croix du Vieux Pont campsite and 2) Are there direct trains to Disneyland, Paris from this station?
Many Thanks

the nearest station is Soissons, but Compiegne is not much further away, Berny Riviere is between the 2. The train service from either is not what you could call frequent, but will take you to Paris (Nord) in about 1 hour. There is no direct service from either station to Disneyland, you need to take the RER once in Paris (Line B to Chatelet, then Line A). Buses run to Compiegne & Soissons from Vic Sur Aisne, but there are inconvenient gaps in the timetable - see http://www.cita.asso.fr/ligne_compiegne_soisso ns_stepa_verso.pdf or http://www.cita.asso.fr/ligne_363_cap_verso.pd f

All reviews of the site suggest the best way to get to Disneyland is on the tour bus organised by the site, or take your car.
that's strange - the links don't seem to work. Go to http://www.cita.asso.fr/page_v_reseau4b.htm and click on the links under "CAP" and/or "STEPA"

Thanks mushroom.
Looks like the car it is then. the site we have stayed at before was nearer the train station and it was so much easier to get to Disney by train than take the car. Ah well . . .
