Loan for travelling

I am hoping to go travelling in March 2007. I am trying to find out if there are any loans available in the UK that you don't have to start paying back until after 9 months to a year. Is there such a loan available in the UK and if so, what company offers it?

If you have good enough credit to get a loan, why not apply for a credit card that gives 12 months interest free on purchases/balance transfers. All you'd have to do is withdraw the money on another card, then balance transfer across to the new 12 month interest free card. suppose it depends how much you want to borrow and over how long, but you've always got the option of switching to amother card in 12 months.

So would I have to have 2 credit cards for that? One to take the money off and one to transfer the balance to?
