Silly names.

While I was avidly reading my local churches parish magazine I came across the christenings section. Some poor child has been given the name..Hari BLADE Oswald ! Have any of you lot got a sad name you were lumbered with? Or know of anyone ?

There's one name I read in my local paper a few years ago which I've never managed to forget..It was in the christening announcements - the surname of the family was Town and they'd named their new baby daughter Tamla Mo. I swear I'm telling the truth! That poor child! I've often thought about that and wondered how she's coping with being lumbered with a name like that.

Gloria Raw Savage

It was on a nametag at the sign-in table at a high school reunion I attended about 15 years ago. I love that name. It sounds like a character in a Shaft or Superfly movie. Gloria never showed up, so I don't know if she fit her name. God, I love that name.
