dreams - wild animals

i had 2 dreams on a similar theme last night. early in the night i dreamed i was attacked by a wild bird. the bird was in a flock. it wasnt horrific but my hand was injured and as i looked at my injury it kinda swelled and went black before my very eyes. i had it looked at by some one who peeled the skin off my hand, exposing redder tender skin below. in my dream i was surprised that it wasnt hurting. later on in the night i dreamed there was a big alsation that kept trying to attack people i was with in a group. the second dream is not so clear in my memory. anybody got any theories on the meaning of these?
