I am not sure if my plant at work has been overwatered or got none at all. I have been away and come back to my plant looking a bit droopy and a few dead leaves and the reamining leaves feel very floppy. what has happened and what can i do to correct it.

Thanks.

Stick a finger in the soil, and see if it's damp. If not, plunge in a bowl of room-temperature water for 1/2 an hour, then drain - if it was too dry, it should perk up in an hour or two.

Take off the dead leaves to tidy it up. Unless your office is very warm, don't overwater during the winter, when the plant isn't growing much.

Check it hasn't been sitting in a cold draft with the weather we've had over the past week or two.
