Has anyone had this done to remove excess hair? Did it work for you and was it expensive?

My ex had his shoulders done (even though I told him not to - I quite like a bit of fur) and I reckon it cost about 300 over 3 or 4 sessions. He said it was quite painful and it has now after 3 years all grown back.
Question is did the same hairs grow back, or did new ones in other spots grow? (i.e. if he hadn't had the procedure done, would the hair there just be thicker now?)

I know there's no way of telling, but it is something to think about if you're planning to get this done.
I would just assume that the laser treatment would have zapped the follicles to stop them producing new hairs. If it had just been removal of those particular hairs he would have got a wax.
I think there are even more now than there was before.
I've had laser hair removal done. I think it is very good and have had good results. Some areas have taken to the treatment better than other areas. however, my beautician changed machines and I've found her new machine isn't as good as the first one. This is more a personal preference I guess.

I suffer from some ingrown hairs and I find once having laser treatment on the area it gets rid of the hair and the area can heal.

the costs not to bad. its approx 145 for bikini area (thats with discount as i've been going for a few years, not all for that treatment though). I worked out its 25 for me to get just my bikini done at my other beauticians with wax every month so really its not much more to spend that bit extra and get laser and the results are more permanent.

if you have any questions let me know.
I've had 5 sessions on both my under arms and bikini line. My under arm hair hasn't grown back but bikini line is a bit more stubborn! Got one more session to go though so hope that sorts it out. The nurse did say to me that I would need to back once of twice a year for a treatment as and when required. It's quite expensive, it cost me nearly 500 and that was a half price offer for both! It's not as painful as waxing but still quite uncomfortable.
