any1 know the cheepest insurance firm for a taxi this would be my first taxi insurance so i have NOT got any no claims

The fact that it's your first taxi insurance is irrelevant. Whenever you apply for motoring insurance you have to declare all accidents and insurance claims, going back several years. This applies whether you were driving a taxi, your own private car, or any other vehicle (such as a works vehicle) at the time.
