Best resort in Bulgaria for the summer season

Hi All,

I am thinking about trying out Bulgaria for a change of the norm i.e. Spain etc and wondered if you could recommend the best and most popular resort to go to.

I would also like some recommendations on good hotels, I am thinking 4 or 5* hotels and was thinking a bed and breakfast basis, can anyone help.

Any info about Bulgaria in the Summer time would be great, thanks x

sunny beach.........top place nice beach, cheap as chips

Hi Sunny Beach is fine cheap and cheerful. Very busy and resorty but a lovely beach. Things to watch out for - book the highest star rating you can, we had four star B& B for about �600 for three of us. people in 3 star were complaining about lack of facilities. don't change money except at hotels or banks. Don't believe the reps telling you it's not safe to travel around except on a guided tour. We did it with a three year old no problem. Weather, food and people are brilliant. Enjoy you hols.

Sunny Beach, definately. I had the greatest time there this summer, it was boiling and it dirt cheap!

What are the temperatures like in months like May and August??

If you go to Sunny Beach try The Victoria Palace hotel it is one of the best.
May it starts to get warm and really hot june July August.
