my friend just brought a plumping volumising lip gloss with maxilip and the instructions say "40% fuller lips when applied 3 times daily for at least 28 days ." how does this work?

It probably doesnt work.It amazes me how the manufacturers can get away with some of the claims they make, but I think its all down to the small print.On one of the Hair Conditioner adverts it states that about 80% of people tested agreed it made a difference, but the text that appears at the bottom of the screen states that it was compared to people who just washed their hair without conditioning.
What also winds me up is that manufacturers seem to make up these stupid names for their products.It now seems that all cosmetics seem to have some youth enhancing, age defying special ingredient which has an almost unponouncable name.I am going to invent a shampoo which will have added ********.Do you reckon it will sell?
