Would the bride have married him if he wasn't ?
If he was in the SAS I'd doubt he'd put it or need to put it on his wedding certificate.
Was that the occupation given - SAS ?? LOL
Does it make a difference ? As long as the name is correct - I doubt wether making a false declaration that you are in the SAS make the marriage void - is she deperate for a reason to nullify the wedding ? He might have been stating he was in the Silly Ar*es Society !!

Isn't the certificate signed and made out after the ceremony so it makes not difference? I hope that false information does not invalidate a marriage - I gave a false address 36 years ago so I could get married in another register office as the registrar in the area where I lived had a stutter and I didn't think I could keep a straight face!
