Should I be put off??? Flattered or Worried???

I met a guy 5 days and I liked him so gave him my number. Since then we've been on a date and he has text me every day since he's had my number. I'm not sure if I should be put off by his volume of texts (I'm not used to it) or should I just be flattered? I do text him back because I do like him but he has text about 80 times in the 5 days.

Yeah but can someone really like you that much in 5 days. I always think there must be an alterior motive.

I hate the initial period when u meet someone and have to play "games" ie not seem too keen but not uninterested.

Reply to him say one in ten of his texts then he will probably slow down to a reasonable pace. Tell hiim you are busy at work or whatever thats why you didnt answer or your phone was on recharge

i don't get texts...i mean i get them but i dont see the point of them. If he text u 80 times he could of probably said it all in a 5 minute convo on the phone.

Just enjoy it. If you are find it all too much then you will have to say something - but if you dont mind them why worry what other people think - he obviously like you and if you like him just see how it developes.

sounds a bit creepy to me - what are the texts about. If hes asking what you are doing who you are with etc I would ditch him now

Don't worry, I 'm sure he is compleatly smittin with you, however most networks are offering hundreds of free texts on both contract & pay as you go phones, I have 300 & its a shame not to use them especially when you really like chatting to someone XxX

It's fairly normal for a guy to get giddy and overexcited like that...as long as the content doesn't creep you out you just need to tell him to go easy.

80 times sounds excessive to me, too. I'd be worried. If you answer every text he'll take it that this volume is acceptable to you, but if you do as Zorro suggests and just answer some of them, he should get the message (pardon the pun!)
