One of TV's Guilty pleasures was watching Peter Engel shows - " Saved by the Bell, USA High , Malibu CA ...." .

The plots wouldn't tax a five year old , the acting was pure Teak and the scenery made the original Dr Who look like Hollywood. The Beach in Malibu CA had to be the smallest ever!

However there were the Engel Babes.. Tiffani Thiesen, Elizabeth Berkley, Wendi Kenya and Gina Marie May .

However it all fizzled out after a successul ten year run. Did US TV tastes change or Did he just get fed up with the whole shooting match?
