Birthday Threads

Why are some threads removed / transferred to B&S, but other tthreads are allowed to stay on AB Suggestions?

How is anyone meant to know where to post such threads?

looking back over the years , seems most of the birthday greetings went in ab suggestions anyway, so whats the harm in putting them there now? but as prospector said, why are some removed to B&S and some aren't ? makes more sense to me that AB either puts a sub under B&S (as half of them get put there anyway!) or maybe under people & places.

If it weren't for netz's posting, telling me the post had been moved, I'd not have known about it since I don't look at the site when I'm at work and although I have a look at B & S now and again, I'd have had to have looked a long way back to come accross it.

Some folk ask why one of their questions has been removed and Miss Ed stops what she's doing and pops on screen to answer. Others do the same and not a peep.

I e-mailed her days ago, to ask politely how much nearer we were to being paid for wir views. Not a peep, nothing.

I'd like to know what it is I've done wrong.

you've not done anything wrong TCL, i've been looking over the birthday greetings for the last few months & some have been removed to B&S and some haven't , prospector is right , seems ED or whoever! just move whatever, when ever they feel like it! same as some people get answered by the ed and some don't!

I was agreeing with you prospector, double standards throughout, but didn't express it clearly. I also wondered how and why birthday greetings seemed to be the norm on Suggs, it is rather odd.

I have asked several times in the past,and only a few days ago(before this thread was posted)where do we post birthday threads.And suggested having a sub cat .It was unfair that nettis and corbys birthday Threads were moved.I also stated that if they were put in B&S by the time corby got home from work,it would be on the next page,and he wouldnt see it.and that was the case.Most of us consider the Suggs Topic the front page of AB.And im sure most users always have a peep on there first.So most people will see the Birthday thread.(:o)

I've always said that i'm one of the worst offenders for chatting on threads, however your post if I remember correctly was whinging that the site wasn't what YOU wanted it to be, so I suggested that maybe it was time for you to find another. Logic tells you that if you dislike this site so much, and you clearly do as most of your posts are sarcastic to the extreme (usually taking the pi$$ out of previous posts) then you move on.........

Yep I send a large part of my day on AB, what business that is of yours or anyone elses I fail to see, but again you think it's necessary to point it out.

As far as I can see you got mighty annoyed that people didn't immediately beg you to stay like you thought they would- not as popular as you thought you were it seems huh?

Anyway, like you've not very successfully pointed out, this argument is getting old, tiring and boring. So by all means if you want to once again pick over my comments feel free- but I won't be reading them or replying, your on your own babes (once again ;-) )

Surely the AB Ed could not complain if the greetings were actually posted as a suggestion. How about this then?
