Scanner driver??

I have a scanner but the cd that I got with it has now got something wrong with it and wont install on my new computer. Is there any way I can get the driver online? I called up the number and i got this awfully unhelpful guy who really made me feel like crap as I was trying to understand his instructions, he lead me to a website to download this driver but alas it didn't work. The scanner I have is a Packard Bell Diamond 1200 Plus. Please help!!

I've tried that, on device manager it says this device is not configured properly. Also, I can't update the driver either as it says it hasn't found anything.

You need to have the drivers downloaded say onto your desktop.
Then go into device manager and uninstall the scanner.

with the scanner connected then reboot your PC and windows should then see the scanner as new hardware and look for the drivers to install it.
