The differences are :-

1 No HDD on the core
2 Wired controller on the core(wireless on the premium)
3 Plain colour dvd tray on core(chrome on the premium)
..oops forgot !

The HDD is almost essential as it is used for game saves,demos,music etc etc
You can buy the HDD (�69.99) seperately or use a memory card (�22.99).

You also get a headset with the Full system.
