I would like to know how much a passport costs in russia, and how much do visa's cost there, for my friend to come visit me in the uk. cheers.

You may very well have a friend in Russia, and apologies if you have, but BEWARE.

There is a scam going on at the moment whereby Russian girls 'befriend' overseas citizens on the internet and get them to send them money for visas, tickets, bribes to officials, etc. They either just pocket the money or if they do use it to get to the UK 'disappear' as soon as they get here.

Well if the person does not have a passport then he/she wont get a Visa, I would have alarms bells ringing if u r paying for the passport and visa
