I wanted to buy some eye-liner, maybe blue, but i have green eyes. Would this look silly and would green be better suited, or doesn't it really matter?

They're only cheap aren't they? Buy both and try 'em out.
brown would be nice with green eyes.
is it blue and green should never be seen? Cant remember but I do think green would really suit
its red and green
is it? but what about xmas?
its unlucky to wear green to a wedding,
I have green/brown eyes, and I sometimes wear blue eyeliner - and I like it. It's a bit softer than black. I also wear brown and olive. Also, try plum. I had my make up done professionally once, and he recommended it. I was dubious, but it really does bring out green eyes.
red and green 4get, due to lack of sleep i have red and green eyes today and they aint a pretty sight. :)
you know what though I think red eyeliner would look good :-)
I have green eyes and it's purple/lilac that you should wear to emphasise your eye colour. The trick is blending. You can stick with a trusted black liquid eyeliner then blend dark purple over it. For daywear try this look:-

But substitute the carbon/black eyeshadows for dark purples. For evening try this:-

But use your liquid liner to add more of a 50's 'Audrey Hepburn' look.
Sorry to interrupt Pus but rather than start a new thread.... I'm not bad at doing my eye make up but I usually use the darker eye shadow shades to do the ends of my eyes, I noticed on the link that it looks like the darker shades are used on the corners... does anyone know which way looks better?

(My cousin uses purple and she has green eyes. She also uses a browny colour but that white eyeliner on the inner lid).
i think it depends on the shade.

as someone said find a cheap brand and but a few and experiment.

you could also try a cheap mixed eyeshadow pallette and apply with a thin wet brush as eyeliner - just to get an idea of the colours that suit you - try a pound shop or something - you can get something like 10/20 colours for a pound or two.
then once you find the shade you like, buy a better brand.

i think dark green or dark blue would be nice - i have green eyes and i prefer dark green.
bottle green or dark olive green are both nice

it is not so much your eye colour that is important as your skin tone.

for instance I have very dark brown hair and eybrows and olive toned skin and lilac looks terrible on me, but someone else mentioned that it looks nice on them.

purple can be problematic in that it can make you look like you are ill or a goth - again depends on your skin tones.

without seeing you its hard to say

(I am a professional makeup artist by the way)
It depends what you're trying to achieve, China, and the shapes of your eyes. For evening, I actually suit having one bold shimmery colour all over the lid. For day I usually stick with a natural look with big eyelashes, a bit like this (but with less eyeshadow!):-

The MAC website is a great place to try new looks out. You don't even need to use their make-up. I certainly don't! Just experiment when you have time and try out the different images. Just think of your face as a blank canvas that you need to create an image. Work with a good base that works well with your skin tone and the rest is easy.
I'll have a play later. I have grey eyes and they're almond shaped. Generally quite good with colours and things, I think I'd want to just either open them up or do the sultry thing that's coming back at the moment.
