A poem from childhood

A long time ago i remember having a poem up on my wall in my bedroom about acat. I haven't been able to find it since and wondered if anyone could help?
The lines i remeber are

"You're there at the door to welcome me home, you sit and you patiently wait.
No matter how long you stay on your own, you never complain when i'm late"
