With sharper hi def TV's becoming more common place in the front room, wireless networks, keyboards abundant I see no reason why the casual internet user would not use a console to browse the internet
I hope that the extra space on the blue ray/ HD DVDs disks isn't used for more FMV there is too much time and disk space spent on this already. Know I don't know about anyone else but I don't have the time or desire to complete or see half of the 40 hour plus games that are about. So the extra storage would not excite me too much in games but I could see it would be useful for full high def 3hour + extras films. Swapping disks is never fun, only tolerated never desirable.
At the rate they are both losing money per unit sold it may be more than just which console is best.
I hope they can both co-exist and hope to get back to the speccy / c64 / amstrad days when each platform had its on version of every game and each platform had its own strengths. Ahhhh the play ground arguments
