If anybody has got the above item are they any good with a portable TV and do they need a indoor aerial

Just bought one as a Christmas present but have had a quick try on a portable TV in the bedroom with an indoor aerial. It did work but is sensitive to the aerial positioning (as you might expect). I hope to try an aerial booster once the present is given. Sometime we might get an aerial guy out to put a new feed into the bedroom.
