The single's cover featured a cartoon picture of the then Prime Minister Harold Wilson. The sniffy politician sued the band for libel, won his action, and demanded that as damages, all royalties should be donated to charity, so the success of the record was somewwhat hollow, and Roy Wood had plenty of time to contemplate a sense of humour adjustment.
Hey pop-pickers (God I'm too young to be saying that!!!). My dad said the only gig he went to see where the support act were actually better (not bad, but better) than the main act, was The Move. Whether he meant that The Move were supporting and they were AMAZING, or they were headlining and they were bad, I don't know. Anyway, just thought I'd say that!
