Many thanks... no wonder i didnt get far... some were easy now I can clarify the clues but others are plain bewildering :ie, 1d = cant contrive the answer from the clue at all : 9a= suffering yes, but the rest of it???? Must be my ignorance. Thanks again. (Not sure when its got to be in by as I cut the date off the coupon -so probably wasting time anyway!)
