This Life? Where, when and what time please?

Does anyone know when the special anniversary episode is on over christmas? I cant wait! Also. did anyone love this programme as much as me back in 96? I thought it was very underated at the time. Also, who was your favourite character? it had to be Egg for me closely followed by kira!

It's on 2nd January, on BBC 2 at 9pm it's called 'This Life + Ten'. It's on for an hour and twenty minutes and is followed up by a ten minute program called 'That Life' which is a trawl through the This Life archives. Got my christmas tv magazine a few days ago

I loved This Life and can't wait til xmas as I'm getting the complete 2 series on DVD! I loved Egg and Kira too, I did have a bit of a soft spot for Miles as well, even got his autograph lol. Shame they've let out of the bag who died tho, having said that I shouldn't have read it lol

Did anyone watch the repeats on BBC2 recently? I recorded every single one (or I thought I did) but they didn't seem to show the very last in series 2 (Miles' wedding). Can anyone confirm this or did I just miss it? If so, I gutted I missed it!

yes, they did show the very last episode, but not until the Wednesday after they had shown the penultimate episode on the Thursday. I recorded them all (good old SkyPlus) and have just the very last one to watch tonight!
To answer the original question, a bit obvious but Anna and Miles were my favourites, my very favourite moment being when Miles was turning the handle on Anna's door, but he bottled it - but she was watching the handle moving from the other side.

Just to confuse things, I read in one of two Scots papers (either the Sunday Mail or Sunday Post) last Sunday it was due to be screened 28th December...
