ink level

please can someone tell me how to find out the level of my ink cartridges, ive done it before but cant remember, many thanks

Different printers use different methods of providing this information but try this:

Go to your Printers folder. (In Windows ME, that's Start > Settings > Printer. In other versions of Windows you might need to go via the Control Panel).

Right-click on the icon for your printer.

Select 'Properties'.

The exact procedure from here will vary from printer to printer but what you need should be in there somewhere. (For most printers, click on the 'Maintenance' tab and then look for something like 'Status Monitor').

thanks but it still doesnt show anything, it used to coem on screen with a pic of the cartridge and how much was in it.
