You have my sympathy. You may be in for a very long haul. I have had two frozen shoulders at various times and both of them took around 18 months to cure themselves. I gather from other sufferers that this length of time is not uncommon.. Steroid injections sometimes help temporarily but can only be used on a limited basis.
When it's very bad you may have to resort to over-the-counter painkillers, especially if the pain is waking you at night. . Physio sessions didn't do any good for me and they are expensive. I think this is one of those complaints where doing gentle daily exercises at home will be just as effective to stop the joint freezing up completely. Be prepared for a long haul though, I'm afraid.
