red haired son

Hi there
my son (the one with the hot feet) as sandy brown/blonde hair. when he was a toddler, he had very white hair which gradually went darker to how it is now.

However, tonight, while he was eating his tea, I noticed that his hair appears to be turning red! I know that children's hair colour does change when they are little, particularly in infancy, but he is now nearly 9 years old and his hair is changing radical colour.

I do have a daughter with red hair and have reddish hair myself (which was red when I was little, but went darker as I gor older) and have several relatives on my side with red hair.

however, question: is is usual for a child's hair to change colour so late?

dont know the answer to that, but little kids with red or ginger hair look so cute and gorgeous, look at little chesney fro ,corrie, he's adorable.

yes mimififi i was white blonde until 9 or 10 it was dark brown by time i was 13

My 12 year old daughter has white blond hair and a few days ago when I was doing the weekly check for nits I noticed she has several jet black hairs and a couple of reddish ones!
