Burtons "fish & chips"

HIicould anyone tell me if they remember the snacks called fish and chips they used to be in a newspaper style bag but later changed into a red bag,(about the same size and shape as a crisp packet). If anybody has seem them recently could they please let me know cos I used to love them.

I remember them too-they used to be so salty they'd turn your lips white! Or is that the vinegar that turns your lips white? Hey-a new question 'within' a question!

in fact....see crisps..... i love them , mainly from childhood ... tudor where the best, especially the pickled onion flavoured ones.......who loves the taste of burnt crisps ....ewwwwwwww they appeared, in golden wonder crisps mainly, youd be happily eating a pkt of crisps when you be watching tv or chatting, ,,,,,,,,,, and this minging taste would happen on your taste buds.... come on has it happened to u?

tudor pickled onion crisps were yummy. who remembers smiths bones (salt & vinegar) and fangs (cheese & onion)
and what about potato puffs!!!

Hiya ! Thanks to all of you that replied to my question gosh the list of crisps we like could go on forever does anybody remember these :- pigglets, bitz n pizza and ringos??
I will continue my quest to find fish n chips and keep you all posted if I find any.

Having searched for them for ages I found them about 18 months ago in Poundstretcher in Penzance in Cornwall!! It's a long way to go for fish and chips.
