Catholic bishops are allowed seven of them, priests five, and ordinary people one; what are they? Crosses on a tomb.

Is this true? A good quiz question if yes.

I think it is sacraments they are allowed to administer- there are seven sacraments -lay people can only administer one i.e. baptism. Bishops have a few extra cofirmation etc.
Sorry confirmation

Thanks - a shame as it doesn't make such a good quiz question.
We had this question in a quiz recently & the answer was crosses on their tombs.
Definitely not Sacraments. Priests can administer all of the Sacraments, even Confirmation, if there is no Bishop available.
Yes, crosses on tombs much more interesting answer !
But have seen quite a few tombs belonging to bishops, and don't remember seeing seven crosses on them.
Would be interested if anyone has any references.
Take the point about Confirmation in exceptional circumstances, but it is ordinarily performed by bishops.
