Tracking down a friend...

A few years back i lost touch with a friend and i would love to get back in touch with her but don't know where to start. I have looked on Friends Reunited but she's not on there. Does anyone have any idea how i can find her and if on the net not on these sites where they charge you.

Try just putting her name in Google, it may come up with something. You would find me by typing my name in there, so you never know!!

Do you guys have anything on the internet like whitepages.com like we have here in the USA? If so, you might be able to search for a phone listing for your friend on it.

If you know what schools etc... she went to you could try the waiting list option or the messageboards on Friends Reunited.

If you know where she used to work then someone there may know where she's gone.

You could even find tracing a friend of family member of hers easier.

What does she do? Some professions have databases, I find it easy to track down friends of mine who are now qualified solicitors as there is a database of us.

You could always try searching on Myspace to see if she has a profile. Funnily enough i'm mooching about on there now!
